I am married - though I want a divorce.

A couple of years ago, I thought that, once I get out of here, I would never marry again. I've been through too much pain and trauma to get to this point.

Well... it turns out that I just needed a lot of time and patience and I just might consider marrying again under the right conditions.

I don't think about it because I've never even been in a serious relationship. I was at two weddings in last two years and didn't feel any desire to go through that. I'm still at the stage where I need to tidy up in my head before I could drag someone else into my life. So it's a pretty abstract idea to me.

As long as you’re happy, that’s what really counts. When I was widowed and lost my son, some people "comforted" me by telling me I’d marry again, have other children. I remember wondering how they could possibly know that.
And it didn’t happen. Sometimes I think "what if?" but I don’t let those thoughts linger for long.

I don't have tons of friends and I am socially awkward. I never thought I'd marry but I have been twice but unfortunately I divorced twice too.

I have been the happiest I've ever been in lots of ways but always felt like that final piece was missing. After 9 months of getting nowhere with Dating someone fell into my lap about 3 weeks ago.

If I were to say all the things I wanted in a woman to be my partner or wife then she'd nail 99.9% of them. I feel so lucky to have met her. I am fairly certain that she will be the third time lucky.

No one know what the future is for any of us. I was with my ex for seven years until he left and we have a four year old son he never sees. Live your life, don't dwell on the 'what ifs'. You can never tell what might happen.

I'm on marriage number 2. so far so good. It does take work though from both sides. 🤷‍♀️

My first marriage has cost almost mine and my son´s life and so I wouldn´t marry again. Never ever.
