You ever read a book feeling like it could have been shortened to a pamphlet?

Been working my way through books I bought, but have been collecting dust. Normally, I read a book through even if I’m not into it. This book goes on and on...
It makes sense.
The many studies mentioned are fine, but as a whole It’s been very redundant. 🤷🏻‍♀️
I’m on chapter 8 wondering if this is going anywhere..?

Any version of something called the Bible or similar because it's so full of bs.
Yes and then I don't finish it.

It’s tempting to give up on it, but it’s also, “well… I’ve come this far…” haha @SimplyLogicalDiscipline
@WhateverWorks be detached hehe

Is it like Steven King explaining what the door way looks like
WhateverWorks · 36-40
No, it’s a book on the misguided-ness of what modern parenting has become. She makes a good point. I am now 11 chapters in and she hasn’t said anything new though from the first couple chapters lol except listing off a bunch of supporting studies.. it’s kind of like… if you don’t empathize with her perspective you’ve already stopped reading the book a long time ago and if you do empathize with her perspective we don’t need any more fncking convincing.. say something new or wrap it up 😆 @NinaTina
