Speaking of that, do you think toughness is something parents think about when raising their kids?

Like does anyone ever stop and think "hm, I hope my child doesn't grow up to be a spineless mouse of a human being with no coping skills for adversity".

And if so, what steps do they take to prevent that?

What is the right way to toughen up your kids?

I think the only thing my parents thought about were Christian values while raising us.
