I got caught in mud on a construction site

A few years ago, I went out for a walk one day and took a wrong turn and ended up in what I thought was an abandoned construction site. There was mud everywhere and before I knew it my white socks were coming out of my sneakers and they almost got mud on them. I was about to leave when I saw a couple of people in the distance and they actually owned the place which I thought was abandoned. I called out to them as I was lost and they were kind enough to tell me that looking after the land was their job and when I asked them how to get out they showed me the exit and we parted ways. It could've gone a lot worse but was a cool experience nonetheless. :)

I was working on a construction site with my older brother once. He was Senior Monitor I was the Junior Monitor, we were part of a Heritage group that had to be present in case the workers unearthed anything of significance.
But after a an hour or two I don't know why, my brother was trying to dare me to show of my fighting skills. Cause that's what you do on a work site. It seems last time he tried to get me in a head lock and I flipped him over my shoulder was still sitting heavy on his mind.
I told him no. do the job and don't muck around.
He ponced anyway and got me in a headlock. I looped my right arm around his left leg and lifted his legs clean off the ground. So there I am trying to do my job with this idiot hanging off of me, thinking what could I have done to stop the situation from escalating to where it went.
But right next to were we were was the slag pit and casually walked over to the edge. It had a good 4 foot drop, and told this idiot he can let go any time... I don't know what the other workers thought, we were like this for 2 hours before he agreed to behave and I let him down on solid earth.

@Thevy29 Interesting yet scary story. I mainly just like construction sites because the mud is usually amazing! :)
