When I say it, what I mean is offline, face to face everyday life. I consider the friends I’ve made online "real", they’re real people, of course.

@bijouxbroussard but the words " not real life" implies that what people do online isn't real. The love and hate online is very real. The people are too. I used to have friends online and people would tell me that they aren't truly your friends. That they are fake, because it isn't real life.

@RIPKAW They don’t understand. There are people here that I’ve been talking to for 12 years. People that I’ve seen grow up, finish school, get married, have children, other friends who have had grandchildren or been widowed during those years. I’ve had friends who have passed away, and know that we will never see their posts again. That’s as real as it gets.

@bijouxbroussard so the internet is real life? If that is the case, people are misguided. The term shouldnt be used because it carries a strong message that hurts lots of people

@RIPKAW You may notice, I’m not arguing with you.

@bijouxbroussard I'm not trying to argue either. Im trying to have a deep conversation :)
