I think im at a point in life im just over it

I dont filter what i say so much anymore and im starting to see how people are starting not to like me. Im just sick of the b.s.

I literally disagreed with some things a friend of mine was doing and she just ignored my last messages for a week now. So i asked her why is she ignoring me? Then her sister unfriends me on FB... but i mean she has a lot of issues shes intentionally trying not see

Then i go into work as a keep in touch day to make a little extra money on my maternity leave and even though a lot of people were happy to see me my old boss wasnt. Shes tried stirring up drama for me in the past. I told her she will be seeing me more often now as im using my KIT days, just to piss her off more, but its so draining. I feel like everyone around me is so emotionally draining and makes me feel so hurt and bitter inside. Maybe its better to be alone

I don't know the background of the story with your friend, but if what she does doesn't involve or affect you personally, then try not to comment on it. I've learned that people will always do whatever they want anyway. It's not worth the discussions if you're not personally involved XD If she asked your opinion and then treats you this way, then I wouldn't really bother with her much anymore lol, but that's just me XD

Your boss sounds awful :/ As a boss they shouldn't get involved in work drama, let alone stir it up 😅 hope it gets better!

@kimmy159 yeah ur right. She said some things that just sounded insane to me but i should have just went with it.

@DarkSideoftheMoon It's not an easy thing to do since you kind of want to protect them from theirselves too right XD But honestly, I still think the real problem here is her not being able to accept some well-intended comments.

@kimmy159 she called me yesterday and we hashed it out. We are both hormonal. I just had a baby and shes pregnant 🤰

@DarkSideoftheMoon Congratulations ^^ Glad you were able to talk it out :D How is life with the baby? Is he/she your first child?

@kimmy159 yeah shes my first. 11 weeks told today. Its challenging. We had to work through her being lactose intolerant and trapped gas. I think shes doing better now.

I think i went into motherhood not know just how difficult it would be. All babies are different and mine isnt to best or worse but its learning as i went along. Not having the answers to everything and just growing as a mother.

Thanks for asking ❤️

@DarkSideoftheMoon I know what it’s like ;p my baby had reflux and didn’t sleep more than 2 hours in 1 go until he was 6 months old. We literally tried everything until we just kind of gave up and put on survival mode to get through those months.

@kimmy159 shes so much better now with sleeping. Its definitely getting easier now. She hates carrides and being in a stroller/pushchair so its difficult leaving the house with her but if i have a 2nd person with me its ok.

The fact that she only slept up to 2 hours at a time for 6 months sounds like hell. I hope you had support. I had a couple moms belittle me for mentioning that i was a bit upset that my MIL doesnt help me with my baby, as she doesnt work and i was overwhelmed. They said i should never expect anyone to help me but at the same time my midwives always ask if i have any support and to ask family and friends fir help.

Doing it alone is rough especially when you turn to other mothers for advice or support and they make you feel like your a horrible person. Like, how dare you ask! Youre suppose to do it all by yourself and have had it all figured out and all the answers before you decided to be a mom. Now you and your kid can suffer and stop bothering people.

It made me severely depressed. I have to return to work in 4 months and im so depressed and stressed out i can hardly eat. No matter what times i work it conflicts with my husbands work schedule. I felt like a real shitty person but i texted my MIL as i had noone else to ask, if for the live of god she can please help watch our daughter and ill pay her and for her taxi 3 days a week to our house so i can work because if i dont work we cant afford the rent and bills and ill have to move back to the States as i have no support. So she saud she will try and see how it goes. Like, i have to work! I dont want to but there isnt a choice. I just hate how bad i feel for asking and how cruel people are. Its 100 percent my husbands and my responsibility to provide and protect our child but i shouldnt be belittled for asking for help if we need it. For support from our parents. Of course if they cant they cant thats understandable.

Sorry for the rant. I needed to get all that off my chest

@DarkSideoftheMoon You should never feel guilty for asking for help or advice. Trust me, that’s what got me through those 6 months as well! My MIL was a huge support, unlike my own mother. I was practically raised by my grandparents so my mom didn’t really know what it was like to take care of a young kid. My parents were always away for work.
My parents often say they kind of regret that, but that they also didn’t really have a choice. I learned to respect and understand that only later in life.
I’m so sorry to hear you have so little support around you :(
You must be so stressed out about the finances as well.
I hope your MIL will be able to help you out! Let me know how it goes :-)) wish I lived closer, I’d definitely try to help you out too :-))
Everyone needs to rant once in a while haha ;-)

@DarkSideoftheMoon I admire you, you can do this ^^ it will work out one way or another. And remember, there’s no such thing like perfect parenting, just do what feels right to you ;-)
