@AMelancholyHaunting Breaking away was painful and then I made my own joy.
@AMelancholyHaunting I created it from ashes. Like a child builds a doll from twigs and found objects. I make joy for my kid and I. Not easy every day, it’s gotten better but worse and back again. But those I get to my own truth the more complete I feel. Joy and pain seem to balance. I don’t know what else to hope for, I’m afraid to ask for too much.
