I have reached the summit and I better damn well enjoy the view while I can.

It occurred to me just this month that I am doing rather well--I like my job, my home life, I have enough money to do what I want, my health is good, my family and friends close by. If this is the summit of my life, I better damn well enjoy it while it lasts because nothing lasts very long--good times or bad times.

I too am close to the summit where my loans are paid off and all thevsalary is take home.
But my maths shows it will happen after i retire. So am confused a bit. 😀
