Things aren't always how they appear

What an odd night. It seemed like a lot of things weren’t working, I got scolded by an instructor at the dance party with this woman I met there for showing me a dance. But that’s something we bonded over and led us to a pretty deep conversation. Then someone stepped on her toe and really hurt her so she had to leave and she left her shoe behind. I texted her that she left it behind after I left to go out to dinner with everyone and she mentioned us meeting up to get it but unfortunately I didn’t have it anymore. Not sure if it was on purpose or accident but I felt like I failed a test lol. Either way I think we will get along so I’m excited to get to know her. But it was one of those nights where when things appeared to go wrong they went right.
