Did anyone get drunk at school when you were a kid?

When I was in Junior Primary. Some 7th and 8th graders discovered these chocolates shaped and packaged to look like bottles of booze, that were sold in the confectionary aisle of the supermarket. And they would bring them to school an it was a month before the teachers worked out why their students were having fun in Algebra class.

NO, 🙄 mine was a decent school with studious and innocent truant cases only.

@sspec So we had 40 + kids to a classroom. The pure Maths teacher had earned his nickname Psycho.
The PE teacher liked to get handsy with the boys.
The grade 6 teacher liked to beat the kids up, which was against the law. But the 7th grade teacher had permission from the parents to do it and we saw it as a badge of honour to get belted with beach bat.
There was drinking, Smoking pot, bullying and fights all over the place. And on hot days most of us would skip a class or two and go swimming. (The school was right by the beach.) And they couldn't give us the school classes needed to get into Uni. But at least no one shot the place up.
@Thevy29 All i could focus on is beach nearby the school!

Psycho! Yes! Our Math/s Sir was your's distant twin.

@sspec There was a beach in front of the school and one at towards the side out the back. A 2 minute walk at most.
The Math teacher was actually a really good guy. He admitted he put on the act and his students were too scared (not sure about this one) to fail and they all got A++'s.
The Grade 7 teacher was awesome. And still is. He usually got all the bad eggs in the school, the ones that would have been expelled. And if he couldn't get them interested in school he finds them apprenticeships and jobs.
But everyone was scared of the Librarian. She could yell at you so loud your bones would ache. And she treated everyone of her books like they were her own babies..
@Thevy29 Looks like all librarians need to meet each other to compete and tag the loudest of all.

Our Math/s Sir was the only bachelor staff and a real compassionate being But... A dangerous n ttttough task master.
He made me skip classes way too much.
