Name a time your deductive skills impressed someone?

Me: This morning. There was an Induction training day for work and I was carpooling with a co-worker. We made it down to the first stage of driving directions they had given us but we still couldn't find the place. 30 minutes of driving, going up and down streets in the most affluent neighbourhood we had ever seen. I noticed a 20 year old Toyota Corolla doing the same thing behind us only now he managed to get ahead of us. My co-worker said we should give up we can't find the place. And I said we're going in the right direction just follow that Corolla. And sure enough, he was going to the exact same place. 😁 His name is Hidesh by the way, and a really nice guy.
At the end of the day we had to wright a feed back for them, and I said the activities should have been spaced out during the day instead of all at the end to keep us from falling asleep. My Co-worker kicked me under the table to stop me from being silly but the lecturer admitted that that was the plan but things had to be reorganised last minute.
