Korn's lead singer & the influence Rock music had on me and my exercise routine from an early age.

I remember being 17 and living with my sister and brother in law in Minnesota and running up and down the metal staircase of the apartment for exercise and listening to Korn/Metallica/Pantera cds all heavy metal music is good for lifting but Korn in particular with their creepy guitar riffs and heavy drumbs I remember always gave me an extra kick of adrenaline and especially that song Daddy made me hit those metal steps pretty hard. So hard that I could hear the metal cling, cling, cling, through my headphones even though they were on full blast. There's something about hearing a grown man cry that helped fuel me and let out some of my own emotions even if they weren't in the form of tears. I think I learned at an early age that music, books, television, and your own experiences can help motivate you to push harder because you can't ever really change things and the best you can do is try to push harder and get stronger and hopefully there comes a point in your life when you the world will stop fcking with you.
