Wonder where we'd be if lockdown hadn't happened?

Before lockdown I was basking in glory. Was in the male gaze quite a bit. Since going back out again it slowly tapered away, I turned the big age. Only get desperate men or a few young men looking now in real life. Age is a terrible thing to happen to women. I'd love to not care about such things but I fear it will never go away. It just feels strange when people look straight through me.

I don't know what you look like but it seems to me that this might be about confidence. Women who stand out to me tend to be confident and self assured. Age isn't the defining charactistic - there are some women who are over 50 who are more attractive than some who are under 20. The way you write suggests that when guys do look at you, you assume that they are desparate or weird - that sounds like a low self esteem issue. You need to love yourself and others will love you too.

@CheekyBadger Not even. What she's saying is facts. That's all it is. And she never said that when they LOOK they seem desperate.
