Life has ways

My dad allways had projects he needed help with like he called and asked me to bring a mig welder over to fix up his spreader and a day and half later i had a new floor welded in it . Well hes gone but i have a friend about 20 years older than me thats kinda filled my boys grandpa role and every time we go over there gramma has cinnomon buns for him and papa needs somthin fixed lol

I'm sorry to hear that about your dad and cherish every moment of your friend's being a grandparent to your son too. I didn't have any grandparents alive after my one grandma died 2 days after I seen her on Easter that only day. My neighbor had a summer cottage across the street from my mom's house and we adopted the elderly couple as our grandparents and their son as a uncle they lived in Chicago Illinois and all of them are all gone now .
