A person who sexually abuses and harasses others

will hardly ever take accountability. in their mind they were entitled to sexualising you without your consent ,implied or expressed, and there are no boundaries,rights or autonomy the person subjected to their abuse was or is in hold of. you most certainly can not speak about your experience with an abuser of any nature and not be reminded of those things,by both the person exercising abuse and those enabling them.

Those acting in abusive/harassing ways is one thing, and it’s likely in their DNA. The enablers tho, they’re a special kind. I’ve had to deal with these people over my stay here. The enablers are the ones making it possible for the abusive/harassing people to continue their shitty behavior without consequences.

My experience has been that when I’ve confronted them, the enablers will tell me stuff similar to the quotes you’ve made here. The enablers wants to see the good in the ones being confronted and at times even start attacking me on my character.

At the same time these (the enablers) are the same talking about how we can make this a better place to stay.

Oh, I do notice both the abusive/harassing ones as their enablers. Not only the ones where I’m targeted.
