What paranoia about illegal immigration? Also illegal immigrants don't sneak their way back. They go back if they're deported.
It's more of, a large percentage of these "illegals" came here legally for work but don't want to leave because the increased restrictions means that it would be harder for them to leave and then come back legally again.

Most of the "illegals" aren't smuggling themselves accross the boarder like media portrays. They come on planes with work visas that expire.

There is general sense of paranoia about illegal immigration, and immigrants in general that aren't light Asians or Europeans, let's be honest. 馃檮

@TragicPersona: I never heard anyone including the media say that most illegals sneak over the border to get here. What I have heard is that when criminals want to get into the country they can't come in through legal channels, so they sneak. This paranoia that you speak of is I think just your perception.
Why would media want to break there own mind game? You do realize they're all the same people and have the same goals?
It's not perception it's an observation

@TragicPersona: You said the media portrays the illegals as all sneaking over the border. I'm no fan of the media, but that's not true, you were wrong with that statement. This time you just said some gibberish that has no meaning.

@TragicPersona: You really are confused.
I don't recall using that language. So I won't stand behind that.

The media does portray that most illegals are coming in from Mexico. That is the trend, but if you don't think so tell me what you see.

@TragicPersona: What I see is that a big deal has been made about Mexicans sneaking across the border and the fact that many of them are criminals. Criminals can only get across by sneaking. Anyone who sneaks in or arrives legally and stays beyond their permitted time is breaking the law and should be deported. If someone wants to become an American citizen they should do it legally for their own sake anyway so they don't have to worry about deportation.
So we're seeing the same thing but use different wording.

I have no opinion on whether or not they should be removed since I honestly don't care. But it is a felony so the law has full rights here.

I'm merely pointing out why the numbers have been increasing, and how paranoia about criminals which make up a smaller portion of all illegals has inflated the numbers of the whole group.

@TragicPersona: What you're pointing out makes no sense!

@TragicPersona: I'm not wasting my time with this anymore, I'm done.
