Why would a woman push away a man who keeps on being there for her

whenever there's a new man in her life of whom she should know it would again last barely half a year? As soon as that new man is gone again, she's being nice to the ever-available one..

Often people need time in healing, some do and some don't. Some don't even know when they do need that for themselves. I went through a relationship with someone who had no time between, and I won't change that for a moment, but she always had someone in the wings, ready to take her away, and when we did end, she repeated no time for herself. Sometimes people are not able to be alone.
