Is it “sad” to go to a concert by yourself?

I’ve recently started doing more things by myself like going to the movies or camping. I’m going to a concert soon that no one in my friend group has time for. And I was wondering if, from the outside, it looks kind of sad to see a woman in her thirties having fun by herself. I was even thinking of getting a year pass to an amusement park just so I can go whenever I want. I have friends and family. Even a boyfriend(he works a lot). But everyone’s at that age where they have bigger responsibilities to handle. I don’t have kids to take care of or school anymore. My job is stable enough where I have enough wiggle room of time to go out and enjoy life. I don’t feel sad or lonely. I’m having fun. Just by myself.

No, I've been to concerts alone and looked around to see many people doing the same, cinema visits too. No-one will think anything of it!

If you're a more extroverted type you could even find like minded friends that way.

One thing I have done and felt awkward about was eating at a restaurant alone, I was out and had plans later. I don't mean like a cafe type of place, a restaurant where I was seated and served by a waiter.

Stop thinking so much and have fun...you don't need anyone's validation 😀

One of my closest friends told me she wanted to go to Africa and nobody would go with her so she went by herself lol

You should do the things you love and enjoy your life

try not to be concerned about what others think, it doesn't matter.

I do things by myself all the time. No shame in that.

Really though, I moved to Greece on my own, I had the best time of my life, it was amazing

Nobody I knew was there, how cool is that
