Yes. I googled “a lonely life” and this came up. I was extremely lonely and empty and no one to talk to in real life so had to turn to internet

No, i was in a pretty good place, i just liked coming on to anwer posts.

It was around the time I was doing my A-levels and initially I pretended to be a guy 🤭

Then I came out as a girl and made another account. After that I didn't use the site until late 2019 for a brief period. By that point I was pregnant irl. Used it on/off since but haven't been that active overall

I found experience project after I googled "dealing with loneliness". My Dad had just died and I'd lost a friend that I used to talk to a lot. I was looking for company, which I found. It had it's ups and downs but I miss it's vibe. I don't get the same feeling of belonging here that I got at EP.

I found EP looking up something about a dream. I stayed because it seemed cool.
I had just left Christianity when I joined ep so a lot of my time was spent arguing with Christians there. I think I even remember you coming into the atheist group and arguing a few times. 😆

I found EP at a very low point in my life and once I found it, I've never fully rid of it. I followed through on SW.
I think EP and initially SW helped me remain grounded and having friends helped me a lot at that time. Maybe it's why there is still remnants of good feelings for this place and I keep returning.

I did, therapy wasn't working, I searched for help with grieving, a post from sw came up about a grieving user, I completely identified with this... And the site certainly took my mind off things.. However I was sceptical at first!
