I'd probably do the same things I am now, working on enriching my own life and continuing to learn new things.

@ravenwind43 What kind of things help you fill the time?
ravenwind43 · 51-55, F
@TinyViolins I have a lot of hobbies and I go to work and the gym. Talk to friends, learning another language, and do the mundane tasks of life no one escapes. Focus on how to improve myself inside and out.
A relationship would be great but I won't force one. :)

@ravenwind43 That's pretty productive. I tend to do much of the same. What language are you currently learning?
ravenwind43 · 51-55, F
@TinyViolins right now I'm working on Spanish. I feel like I am making good progress
TinyViolins · 31-35, M
@ravenwind43 That's awesome. Spanish was my first language, but not speaking it for many years really eroded a lot of the foundations I had as a kid. I had to reteach myself as well, but I've recently gotten to a point where I'm fluent enough to have relevant conversations with native speakers.

@TinyViolins I think that's true for languages. If you don't practice them you can lose them. Since it is your first language you are definitely further along than I am LOL
TinyViolins · 31-35, M
@ravenwind43 Yeah, it's basically cheating since so much of the language is intuitive for me. I don't really have to thing about how to conjugate what or which gender a certain noun is, but all the same it's nice to know another language.

I gave German a shot many years ago, but realizing I never knew anybody that spoke German was a little disheartening. I still recognize many words and can put together some sentences, but that's about the extent of my language-learning endeavor

@TinyViolins German is a tough language!
