Wtf is going on??

So in the space of literally 3 weeks I have had 3 yes 3 cold sores in 3 different places on my lips surely this isn’t right I have never had so many in a small amount of time 🙄.

Feeling proper pissed of not going to lie they are so sore and take ages to go and as soon as one went another come up so I have had no rest from them and constantly in pain with them WTAF! 😤

Cold sores are part of the herpes virus that stays dormant in a nerve, until something triggers it. It’s not a disease. Drinking from a glass or cup, from a restaurant or bar, that’s not washed properly can spread the virus. They are very common. @JoyfulSilence

Cold sores do not make you ill, but they are very contagious while you have one. They are permanent, and can remain dormant for years, or for life, and only become active after some kind of trigger. You can’t catch them while they are dormant. @JoyfulSilence

They shouldn’t. No kissing. Wash hands after touching it. It can spread to your eye and cause blindness if you touch your eye after touching it. While it’s on your mouth, it’s a painful inconvenience. Make sure you don’t spread it to other mucous membranes, or others. @Spiritualangel777

Yeah I am always carful the only one who insists on kissing me is hubby but his never had them and never catches them either thankfully @Carissimi

I couldn’t kiss anyone with a cold sore. It’s too painful, and I wouldn’t want to spread it. @Spiritualangel777
