Would this be the right thing to do under these circumstances?

In the interests of full disclosure,let me say that the situation Im about to describe has NOT happened to me or anyone I know.Its simply a hypothetical designed to make you think.If a single guy-his age doesnt matter;lets say hes in his mid-30s-meets a woman hes really into.But he then learns shes a single parent with a child.While he really likes the woman,he does not have any great love for kids in general and doesnt want to get involved with her kid in any way.Under these circumstances,would the best thing for the guy to do is break up with the woman and end all conflict?Why or why not?

Yes I think so, that or change his thinking and be involved with the kid

It would be wrong to the kid to get involved with the mom and not him, robbing him of the chance to have a real father figure

@th3r0n And lets face it,going with the Mom means getting involved with the kid on some level,whether the guy wished it or not.

That will hurt the kid, and possibly her too
