Day 2 of weaning GSD off the training collar and practicing hand signals. He’s doing great 😊

First time he understood resting under my legs by me using only hand gestures with no verbal commands . That was pretty cool.

Been doing ‘just vest’ walks to the store. All and all it’s been going pretty well. I think the cup of whip cream that awaits him is good incentive. 🤭 it’s important though because I don’t want to have to use the training collar forever.

He’s getting much better at distractions and his ’working dog’ manners. I can tell he’s starting to understand ‘Service vest on’ versus ‘no vest’ rules.

😊 At this rate I think he’ll be ready for another bus ride soon.
