I turn 20 in less than a month

Though technically I am already an adult, it’s just now hitting me in the face that I’m not a kid anymore, and how I never really got the opportunity to be one. I was forced to “grow up” at an incredibly young age, so by the time I was 12 I was thinking and functioning like a full grown woman.

I don’t know, it’s a bittersweet sentiment. My life is just beginning, yet, I feel decades older.

Your twenties is when you really find out who you are; at least I did. It's the last bit of "spit and polish" you'll put on yourself as a person. You will fuck up, but go easy on yourself. We're only human.

@JustGoneNow Agreed. That's why I added "at least I did". I find that it's true of many people. I think some people NEVER get a damn clue, which is sad.

@uncalled4 She’s a beautiful strong young woman with an old soul that has truly known suffering. Some of her struggle mirrors some of my own, and some is uniquely her own. I pray for her and her family often. And I’m proud to call her my friend. 🖤

@JustGoneNow I don't know her very well, but her posts are funny as hell and brighten up my day. She brings levity to the dark SW world and has my respect. Best I can do is endorse and support.
