My life is busy, with less personal time than I'd prefer. I'm always having to be selective about how I spend my "free time" and who I spend it with. It's never enough, and that's an understatement. My work-life balance sucks.
Even then, I always want him to know that he's a priority in my life, that even when I'm busy doing other things, he's always a consideration, and always on my mind. And I always [i]wish[/i] he could be by my side.
I know that he always tries to make me feel special. When I'm down, he tries to make me laugh. When life is weighing heavily on my shoulders, he offers his support. He knows my heart, because he is open to it. And he's demonstrated his love for me in a way no one ever has.
He's not only my love, but my partner. He is the person I've chosen to walk through this life with. And I hope that he always knows the place he holds in my life, and in my heart.
You never could, not in a million years. Every breath we share together, is a gift to me. I love you more than life itself, with all my heart, soul, and being. I'm sorry I fall asleep all the time, I'm sorry that sometimes I space out and as a result, can't be as considerate as I'd like to be. I think we both get fatigued, and I don't expect you to be on all the time, or any of the time. I love you for who you are at the core of your being. You are my home, my peace, my heaven. <3
That is how I feel about my dog. When I am in the truck and look in the back seat. I expect to see him there, even when working and he can't come along.
