I am scared of roads because my parents always told me it's dangerous, i am 23 yrs old and dont know how to drive, how long will it take to be good

What kind of area do you live in? City, suburb, rural? City driving is the hardest; the others not so bad. It's also helpful to ride in a car a lot with a good driver. Most people consider themselves above average, but I wonder if your parents would qualify as good drivers.

@ElwoodBlues i live in the city, theres a lot of rush and traffic.
my father was okay at driving, he passed away months ago, my mom doesnt know how to drive and my brother, well he's like kinda below average but not so bad i guess.
