I can relate to your experience some. When I was heavier it was incredible how perfect strangers felt comfortable to comment on my weight or appearance. I still don’t get what it is about a higher number on the scale that seems to invite insults from others. I don’t know your situation if you have any physical limitations or health issues that are hindering your ability to properly shed fat. For myself it was a matter of discipline. I had to choose every day to do my miles & eat healthy. I lost over 70lbs. But that wasn’t enough. I gained back some then a little more during my pregnancy. I realize now as I restart my journey to a healthier me that I need to focus on my mental health as well as my physical health. Losing weight is very much wrapped up in how we are feeling. If we feel bad we usually don’t want to move/ exercise & we often find comfort in junk food. Focusing on trying to think more positively & being kinder to ourselves can make all the difference. Treating ourselves with respect from what we consume to how we talk to ourselves. I wish you luck with accepting yourself now & hope you can reach a size you can find happiness at too. As far as other people mocking you or making swift judgments try not to take them too seriously. Small minds make small minded comments. Take care ❄️
