Do you honor your parents?

@Fairydust Wow, that is fantastic, blessed parents. How did they raise you?

@Carazaa actually my mums a Christian, my dad died young, they raised me well considering losing dad, definitely wasn’t perfect but that’s life.

@Fairydust It is super hard losing a Dad. Good for her raising you christian.

@Carazaa yeah it was hard for her with 4 kids at 36, I don’t know how she did it.
His death wasn’t handled very well, she was told I was too young to go to the funeral,I was only 8 and didn’t really understand, no one actually sat me down and explained what was happening, just a lot of grief around me, but it was the 80’s and not as common. She did her best in a bad situation.

@Fairydust Wow, do you wish you could have gone to the funeral?

@Carazaa I should have gone and been told he had died, my mum was in shock and grief, she wasn’t thinking normal, she never actually sat me down and told me he had died, it was just assumed I knew what was happening.

@Fairydust So sorry! She probably did what she thought was best at the time, and was in shock herself.

@Carazaa aw thank you, She definitely did her best, I had a great childhood, it was traumatic experience at the time but Ive a great family, people go through way worse.
