May i ask how everyone is coping with the pandemic and its life changing?

I remember when it all started, I honestly thought it will be over now. I am in city/ country that we've had lockdowns more than anyone else. We are in 210 days lockdown , no school, no parties nothing. When all started I literally just moved out of home for the first time. I had high hopes of adult independence and now just prisoned in my apartment lol..We can't go further than 5km from home. Thank God vaccine for my age group has came out now. I am going to get vaccinated because it seem without it won't be able to do anything.

You are lucky that you can get one. Go for it as soon as you can. I am vaccinated but so many here refuse to take it. So sad.

@Jill1990 My age range we are able to access it from tomorrow, making a call to my Dr first thing in morning

@MissElla that’s wonderful - at least you will feel more at ease. Hope the nightmare is over soon.

@Jill1990 is crazy...Something gotta give

@MissElla We’re lucky in this area. We have had no vacations in two years but most places are open. Masks are coming back, so it may get worse. They are begging people to take the vaccine, even giving $100 gift cards to people to get them in.

@Jill1990 really? Is so bad here especially my city
MissElla · 26-30, F
$100, can use the cash hahaha
Jill1990 · 31-35, F
@MissElla They can’t get many in even with that. The FDA here gave final full approval to one of the vaccines here, so maybe that will help.
Jill1990 · 31-35, F
@MissElla we had an initial lockdown and many places went out of business. Restaurants are crowded again but the “D” variant is really taking hold now, so that’s probably about to change.

@Jill1990 i was anti vaccine at first as well but look without it you won't be able to do anything I think that's where we are heading plus when our days are up, are up , why not try to at least stay safe ..Is not like I trust politicians or anything but seeing how they have managed to control and lock everyone down I am ok to comply because I want to be safe and do things I love and if is a mistake well...I guess is all gods plan lol
MissElla · 26-30, F
@Jill1990 Yes apparently that's a horrible one..
Jill1990 · 31-35, F
@MissElla Before long, it will spread everywhere, and if people don’t get vaccinated, there will be an “e” and than an “f”…
@Jill1990 people refuse to take the vaccine because they are fed lies by moronic dumb asses and they blindly believe the dumb shit they are told
Jill1990 · 31-35, F
@ExperienceDLT I agree but you don’t need to be so negative. Nobody needs that and it won’t help.

@Jill1990 My family is in Sydney/Australia and they are being hit by Delta hard-core. I miss them so much. I've been trying to home since April. I miss them
Jill1990 · 31-35, F
@MissElla I bet you do and I’m so sorry. Maybe when you get your shots, you can go for a visit. Australia has really been hard hit. I chat with a guy in Sydney and one in Pearth.
MissElla · 26-30, F
@Jill1990 Sydney is no go zone now! None go in and none go out!
Jill1990 · 31-35, F
@MissElla That seems like something out of a horror movie to be honest. I hope your loved ones are ok. I hope they all are ok.
carolinehugz · 51-55, F
@ExperienceDLT Many people feel lied to by the government's anyway before covid so don't trust them anyway whatever they say.

As far as I can see, even when people are vaccinated it still infects them and spreads around anyway, which we were told won't happen either. Now boosters and talk of more restriction even after being double jabbed isnt helping.
Jill1990 · 31-35, F
@carolinehugz This was a brand new disease - nobody knew what it might do. People weren’t lying about it, they we’re making the best guess they could and it saved a lot of lives. Maybe they were wrong sometimes but it beats doing nothing at all. The vaccines are PROVEN to save lives - nobody is guessing about that, although there are still things to learn. If people don’t get vaccinated, the virus will keep mutating and we will never ever put this behind us.
carolinehugz · 51-55, F
@Jill1990 maybe it's different where you are but the vaccines have saved elderly age groups but younger ages are now being treated badly by the government. They e been threaten with having their education and socialing venues taken away for not having a vaccine they don't actually need or will stop it people passing it on.

That's beyond sad and something terrible is happening to society and the future 😔
Jill1990 · 31-35, F
@carolinehugz I cannot comment on where you live but I honestly believe if everyone would get vaccinated, the whole world could get back to normal. If governments don’t require it, people won’t take it and we will continue to have flair-ups. The death toll is almost 4,500,000 now and we can stop it - stop it now. We have a solution. Here they are offering $100 gift cards to people to take this vaccine. I don't want to die. I don’t want another lockdown. I dont want to wear a mask. We can stop it NOW.
MissElla · 26-30, F
@carolinehugz yep. That's my age group and yes as of today we need to be vaccinated
Jill1990 · 31-35, F
@MissElla Go girl - get it as quick as you can.
MissElla · 26-30, F
@Jill1990 Friday 3.05pm got my appointment, yay!
Jill1990 · 31-35, F
@MissElla Thats wonderful - I’m happy for you. Make sure all your friends go too.
