I do not like when able-bodied people get things that I have to work for, for free

I try to be grateful for what I have, food, water, shelter.

I try to be grateful that I have remained employed throughout the pandemic.

But I can't help but think: I'd probably have more if I didn't work.

I.e free food- extra snap/food stamp benefits ( I do not & have not ever in life received them).

Free money ( child credit- $200-300 per child per month) just for having a child.

Unemployment and housing help.

Pretty sure these folks incomes is greater than mine, yet they don't even have to lift a finger.

Apparently I'm doing something wrong🤷‍♀️

It's about politicians buying vote with your taxes.

It's so outrageous that they have to borrow money to buy those votes, forcing your children and grandchildren to pay off the debt that they are creating to buy votes now. They have already squandered all the money we have put into social security and medicare over our working lifetime, and their remedy for those shortfalls were to raise retirement ages and reduce benefits.
