I do not like when able-bodied people get things that I have to work for, for free

I try to be grateful for what I have, food, water, shelter.

I try to be grateful that I have remained employed throughout the pandemic.

But I can't help but think: I'd probably have more if I didn't work.

I.e free food- extra snap/food stamp benefits ( I do not & have not ever in life received them).

Free money ( child credit- $200-300 per child per month) just for having a child.

Unemployment and housing help.

Pretty sure these folks incomes is greater than mine, yet they don't even have to lift a finger.

Apparently I'm doing something wrong🤷‍♀️

In a fair world this crap will end. There are women bringing innocent babies into the world in order to collect these benefits so they don’t have to go to work. Someone with that mentality is too lazy to put forth the effort to properly care for their children and they are raising children who most likely will continue on with this playing the system to get out of the home & away from their mother. I know a teacher who has witnessed this with his students, the girls start talking about planning on having a baby when they are 14 years old to get away from their mothers….if they have problems in class with their homework he will call up those mothers and get the cussing of his life.
