I do not like when able-bodied people get things that I have to work for, for free

I try to be grateful for what I have, food, water, shelter.

I try to be grateful that I have remained employed throughout the pandemic.

But I can't help but think: I'd probably have more if I didn't work.

I.e free food- extra snap/food stamp benefits ( I do not & have not ever in life received them).

Free money ( child credit- $200-300 per child per month) just for having a child.

Unemployment and housing help.

Pretty sure these folks incomes is greater than mine, yet they don't even have to lift a finger.

Apparently I'm doing something wrong🤷‍♀️

I've been homeless with a wife and six month old daughter. That was a long time ago. I didn't quality for any stimulus checks due to my income. I've been working through the pandemic and turned down lots of OT. Things happen. What really pisses me off is the number of billionaires and corporations that don't pay one cent in taxes.

@Crazywaterspring homelessness is temporary. If one is homeless, they do need assistance, I don't have a problem with that.y problem is with those who abuse things and make a career out of handouts.

Anyway, glad you are back on track and doing well
