Because itd be the same as paying for the damage in full.

Insurance, is 'insurance' against having to do that.

Yoy pay a bit every month, so you don't have to pay a big lump sum all at once .
@OogieBoogie it's better to pay only when you get into one instead of wasting money monthly
@uyrex dude , you need to look up how it works.

Companies don't 'give ' you money .

They have to make money to have reserve for claims .

If you only want to pay when you have an accident...then don't get insurance....and be faced with the thousands, if not 10's of thousands of dollars in repair bills .🤷‍♀️
@uyrex That's what is referred to as "self-insured." But be aware that if you have any money or possessions at all, an unscrupulous person would likely clean you out with a lawsuit.

Insurance companies are like having a really tough big brother standing behind you. They keep dishonest people from screwing you over.
@SWisGoingWoke precisely said 😊👍
@SWisGoingWoke i know but still . they should only make you pay if you get into one
@OogieBoogie i never said anything about them giving you money. i said you should only pay if you get into one instead of monthly
