Have you ever heard something that you felt was a message just for you?

Yesterday, I was driving and listening to the radio but not really paying attention to it.

I had just left a doctor appointment and yet again, was told that they didn't have any answers and that the doc has no more suggestions for me.

I was stressed about it, then in the song that was playing, I heard the words "the answer lies in you".

So I'm gonna make dietary changes.
I don't see what else I, myself can do other than that.

Because of the nature of my issues, I want to consult with my PCP before starting an exercise routine as I don't want to make matters worse.

That's a very responsible approach and yes many times I thought universal messages were speaking directly to me

@Wolfee yea even the doc was like, have you tried this med? Have you been to xyz specialist? Have you tried PT? Dry needing, etc etc etc. I answered yes,to all questions. She said she had no more suggestions and that I'm doing all I can🤷‍♀️

@Wolfee she was nice but I was like, how can you have no more suggestions? She did blood work and ordered a test. I said what's the next step if the tests are normal, she said I'd have to go back to PCP. Meanwhile, he's sent me to I don't know how many "specialists" at this point

@iamnikki Sounds very irritating I couldn't imagine
Coralmist · 41-45, F
@iamnikki Wow my sister is dealing with that three years now😕 She's had a condition that no doctor knows about. They keep sending her PT or another neurologist, but then just say sorry, I don't know what you have. No one can figure out her debilitating pain and leg twitches daily. She's like why aren't they trying to do a

@iamnikki anything ELSE to help me??? 😕
iamnikki · 31-35, F
@Wolfee extremely irritating. Need to go call Dr Oz or somebody lol. But seriously, it's annoying
iamnikki · 31-35, F
@Coralmist yep, totally understand that. I've been having these problems for over 10 years and it's worsening. I now have been told that I have arthritis in 2 areas of my body and an unknown autoimmune issue that can morph into lupus, due to my family history of it.
Mention to her about dietary changes and natural supplements. That'll be my next step
Coralmist · 41-45, F
@iamnikki Ugh I hope they find soon what the possibile autoimmune condition is. Did you try genetic testing?
iamnikki · 31-35, F
@Coralmist thank you, and no I haven't
Coralmist · 41-45, F
@iamnikki My sister is trying to get some done. Good luck ✨☘️
@Coralmist leg twitches could be the body's need for more magnesuim

Doctors know very little about preventive health or even nutrition. They jost don't get it in med school.
Coralmist · 41-45, F
@Elevatorpitches Her magnesium is fine in the blood work, but could she still take it, or need it?
@Coralmist I think that might be a good thing to try, it comes in liquid forms so so easy to take...

I get muscle tetany all the time and I have read thats a lack of mag, although my diet would indicate sufficient levels

Theres the issue of malabsorption too...
Coralmist · 41-45, F
@Elevatorpitches true, Thanks I'll let her know. What is muscle tetany.?
@Coralmist temporary paralysis, worse than simple twitching... Sometimes in the CAR too! My foot quits its function...very scary.
Coralmist · 41-45, F
@Elevatorpitches I'm sorry to hear, do any meds help or muscle relaxers?
@Coralmist more absorbable MAGNESIUM!!

lol

How quickly we forget!🤣
Coralmist · 41-45, F
@Elevatorpitches Unfortunately her twitches are daily and they never stop. They feel like hundreds of twitches in the whole leg at once, 24/7. No one can figure out the disorder. Plus extreme fatigue and tightness in legs daily. I'm so sorry you have tetany, that is anxiety producing never knowing when your foot could go limp😟 I just read it's a low calcium condition?
@Coralmist low MAGNESIUM

good luck with her and yourself and everything...
Coralmist · 41-45, F
@Elevatorpitches No I didn't forget the magnesium hehe...I mean other meds at all?
@Coralmist I'm not a licensed nutritionist.

But I think in general people get too much calcium and not enough magnesium.

Calcium is in cheese and that can kill u with heart attacks and strokes and people get so addicted to that stuff, myself included...

Magnesium is in green veggies... how much of that do people consume?

My best shot!
Coralmist · 41-45, F
@Elevatorpitches Oh ok I just read it's low calcium and magnesium condition (tetany). Good luck to you too and thanks 🌻
@Coralmist A lot of popular lit about nutrition is simply wrong. And as I said, most MD's don't know squat about it to begin with.

Gary Null is one who actually knows, he's online.
