Why don't doctors live longer than the average human?

You would think a health professional would have a higher life expectancy right?

I should think the first half of their careers is spent worrying about the total debt they've accrued just in getting qualified !
@Picklebobble2 true.it shouldn't be so expensive
@mysteryespresso Its not expensive in some places. In Germany ALL college is free and another country sends doctors all over the world where NO other doctors could care... and the training is VERY reasonable if not free.
@Elevatorpitches ONLY in Germany. It's an exception. Wish more countries could do that. I know it's affordable for everyone. In most of countries in the world you pay a lot of money for Medical education, so much that it feels unreasonable.
@mysteryespresso All Americans can study in Germany for FREE. Go look it up.
@Elevatorpitches they teach in German language
@mysteryespresso sooooo? That wouldn't disqualify some people and besides there are only a few spots.

OK I lied. SOME Americans can study medicine in Germany for free. You want them to hold your hand too?
@Elevatorpitches It’s too late for it now
@mysteryespresso well its also too late for me to attend medical school anywhere.

Life happens.
@Elevatorpitchesfew years back I read a news story in daily mail app. A nurse always wanted to become a doctor. She became doctor at age of 50.
@mysteryespresso I'm not 50.
