Does anyone have first hand experience of physical withdrawal symptoms from any kind of substance?

@DragonFruit I know it's rather personal, but have you ever considered moderation management or harm reduction? There's ways for even people with severe alcohol use disorder to moderate their intake and without complete abstinence.
