What would you make of this?

I nanny for a family and the mother works in HR. Today, I picked up a notepad which I thought was her kids and it was filled with her HR stuff. I turned the page and saw my name in block capitals and then the words 'A different kettle of fish, Anxiety and panic attacks, hard to get rid of with this in mind.' My name (real one) is quite unusual which makes me now worry it is me she is writing about. I do have anxiety but not panic attacks and the anxiety is only mild so I haven't told her. However, she may have assumed as I am a bit nervous and quiet around her due to this being my first nannying job. Am I being paranoid?

No, it sounds like you're correct. Maybe you want to talk over with her your anxiety issue, try to preempt any action on her part?

You are very kind. @firefall:

@Jenni855: well, it's an invidious position, and you seem a nice person, not deserving something like this.

Thank you. Needed to hear that. @firefall:

With respect perhaps you shouldn't have been nosing at someone else's notebook - it may mean nothing at all

Well, it was on the next page and she shouldn't leave it out if she doesn't want people looking.

@Jenni855: I assume it was in her house so no reason for her to put it away - as you say it was you who turned the page so how can that be her fault?

@Dlrannie: She knows we use notebooks though. I wouldn't have kept looking but honest to god, it was on the next page.

I'd say "Just for the record I have mild anxiety and have never had a panic attack."
