How technological is your home?

Fairly. But as a Cybersecurity student (Aside from being broke), well, the going theme is that Cybersecurity people don't like extra devices in their homes, because it opens up a lot of avenues of attack.

That said, I really appreciate the convenience of a lot of those Smart Home devices. Like, I'm not sure I could live without my iShark vacuuming robot. The floors are perpetually clean with minimal effort.

And it uses AES-256 encryption, which has yet to be broken. Even so, thinking about it, you have a device which has a...fucking camera on it, going through your entire home. The security has to be paramount and extremely.

Fundamental notion in Security is that you can increase the resources it takes to break your defenses--but, you can never fully protect a vulnerability.

I.e. As convenience goes up, security goes down.

Even so, I wanna get one of those smart thermostats, because I get tired of changing the thermostat from 67F to 72F in the morning!
