Would you find this odd?

If someone you worked for who is 35 keeps calling me 'Darling' and 'Sweetie' constantly? She is another female and married. I am 31 but wonder if she thinks I am younger despite us both working together for years....

I do that too ...but not on purpose ...I say hun a lot and don't realise it at times hahahaha

You've called me hun before. I reported you for harassment. I guess nothing ever came of it.
My fave bartender calls me "hun". I think of it the same as a guy saying "buddy". People can call me whatever they want as long as they buy once in a while.

I do find it a bit patronising. @faefairy:

jenni855 she probably means it as a term of friendship but if it worrying you or you think she is been inappropriate have a quiet word with her about it

I just find it odd speaking to another adult like that, someone who isn't family or friends either.

Oh I call people darling, sunshine, honey, & pumpkin all the time. It's just who I am.
