My boss drives me insane

He is bad at every aspect of his job, is lazy and tries to get me to do his work for him, and I'm more qualified to do his job than he is. I don't know how much more I can take. Just venting.

There was just a study reported that said something like 45% of people would forgo a substantial raise at work, just to be able to fire their boss.

So it seems alteast half the country has a crappy boss :(

There's no accountability anymore. I was told by one of his peers that I could lose my job for going above his head and reporting his actions to corporate. It's as if one of the qualifications for being a boss is utter laziness.

@naoradix: Thats the worst when you feel like you have no recourse for it. I never understood that, if I am running a company and an employee takes the radical step of going over their bosses head, I would have to stop and listen as I would think there must be a good reason.

Exactly. If someone two levels below me has the balls to step up, I might consider them for a more stressful position. You and I should start a company lol.
