Anyone know any ways to get over fears fast?

I think thinner heels look better than my usual block heels, but the decrease in stability paired with my stupid phobia or whatever of dislocating my patella again makes me a twitchy mess just thinking about the possibility of stumbling.

Since the fear isn't all that unfounded, I can't force myself to stumble until it no longer registers as a threat... But I really feel like I'm wasting potential here.

No thoughts at all other than I'll NEVER understand why some make their ability to move less than optimum. It's like choosing to be the weakest antelope in the herd. Just don't get it. Good luck though. I guess.
