When you were a child, did either one of your parents read to you at night?

Did you enjoy it? If they didn't read to you, do you feel like you missed out?
My mom used to sing to me when I was really young. I took up reading at a very young age and enjoyed it. At bedtime, I rarely had a book read to me, but I always asked curious questions about everything.

Yes my mom read to me all the time. By the 1st grade I could read perfectly so I began to read to myself then and I still do.
Yeah, my mom read to my brother and me until I was old enough to read. Then I did all the reading.

My sister used to read to me a lot. I don't remember my parents reading to me but I'm sure they did.

My mum did. She read me fairytales.
My dad read me articles about failure.

I don't recall my parents ever reading to me. My sister did.
Yes, both did. And I did the same with my kid. We all love books.
