This woman asked my mom to make her a "traditional" African dish

@Carver Nothing wrong with it- if you're preparing it yourself. If you come to someone and specifically ask for an African dish so you can taste African food and proceed to take that meal and change it when they specifically made due to a request to try AFRICAN food, you defeat the entire purpose.

@bijouxbroussard she made fufu I believe? And some soup she's never made for me to go with it. I got here just as it was being covered in cheese by the lady, so I can't say for sure haha. But in pretty sure that was fufu the woman was ripping up to put in the soup. The problem with requesting "African" food specifically is that Africa has such a variety of cultures that you really need to specify which PART of Africa🤷 so I guess my mom just went with what was prepared in the part she came from.
