I don’t think people understand what feminism is. A feminist is not a man hater. A feminist is a person that women and men are equally capable.
A feminazi is a man hater usually a man hater and a Lesbian.

SW-User
You can be a feminist and be a nice person too
SW-User
@SW-User Yeah, there are good and bad apples in every group.
SW-User
@SW-User exactly
Fauxmyope2 · 26-30, F
I fully embrace feminism. It doesn’t mean that I am anti-male. I am not at all.
@Fauxmyope2 Same. My best friends, my whole life, have been male. I’m a gay girl that absolutely adores my incredible male friends.
MURD3RM0NK3Y · 26-30, M
So people just become feminists because they were fucked over by the opposite gender. Which can happen to anyone. Interesting. What a bunch of losers.
SW-User
@MURD3RM0NK3Y I don't know, maybe there's other things that have happened. I don't know every single detail of her life, lol.
Peaches · F
@MURD3RM0NK3Y No, that's not the only reason. If a woman can do the same job as a man then she should get the same pay.🤑That doesn't always happen.
Peaches · F
Well I'm all for equal rights for women. I especially dislike men that beat women up...and I hope they come back as a woman in their next life!😎
SW-User
@Peaches Yes, men who beat up women are nothing but scumbags 🤬.
I think she doesn't understand what feminism is. It's not about "Men suck!"

For me it is about getting closer to a place where everyone is treated with fairness and dignity.
BirthYear1993 · 26-30, M
Man and woman both are equal
SW-User
@BirthYear1993 no, we are not. Men aren't superior to women, but we are not equal. We are different.
BirthYear1993 · 26-30, M
@SW-User only biologically different
Rose I am male and I hope you can understand where I am coming from to a huge extent- I've been bullied most of my life, most of the bullies have been boys.

most of the people who give me shit about failing to live up to masculine expectations are men.

and I have also had the Displeasure of Watching somebody I had feelings for Float in and out of Abusive relationship after Abusive relationship and I know on some level it takes two to tango and that I can't absolve her of all responsibility for what happened to her but it was still excruciating and I know that while Domestic Violence does occasionally happen to men and even by women it's PRIMARILY a crime of men beating women.

Given the overwhelming reality there and the various misbehavior men have largely EARNED their low reputation fair and square.

I don't hate men across the board I'm not perjudice against them as a group but I do on a level understand that ENTIRELY TOO many of them are in fact scum.

That's not even scratching the surface of the Hump and dipsose of behavior the pursuing a woman all the way into the bedroom lying to her telling her they love her getting her to open her legs and then LEAVING the minute after like she's nothing but a cum rag for them.

I'm sorry but our behavior towards you as a sex has been truly deplorable and it's almost as if you blind yourself to it.

I for one rise in support of Feminism.
SW-User
@BetweenKittensandRiots First off, I am sorry that you were bullied. What you described is pretty sad. There are good and bad apples out there. I've observed and interacted with some totally disgusting men on here for example, and have read about many on the news. Unfortunately you hear more often about the bad that people do than the good. I know that there are definitely good men out there though because I have heard about them as well.
@SW-User Yeah I can be a little bit naive sometimes because of it because honest you girls were rarely ever the problem in fact my relationship with the female side of the equation has been more charmed than anything else...

I know better than to expect you to be superhuman or anything like you do still use the facilities obviously.

it's just that when relations have generally been good albeit there are women I wish I could forget and burn from my memories forever but for the most part you've been damn precious.. and it makes it really difficult to not come across as sort of naive and stupid about women.

we all know there are bad apples in your camp too same with any group.

it's just that you've generally been the better half of humanity for me.

to be crude we could say there are bitches and there are assholes it's just the assholes outnumber the bitches about 10 to 1.
Im not sure you know what a feminist is
@SW-User not those men anyway 😄
SW-User
@SStarfish 😆
@SW-User ☺️🙂
Ruthler · 26-30, F
I am indifferent mostly.
I care about equal rights but I only speak up about it when I actually see or experience an issue.
As for the movement it's self I think it's gone a bit off the deep end.
SW-User
@Ruthler Oh it went off the deep end a looong time ago 😆.
SW-User
@DarkHeaven I honestly wonder if she really knows.
@SW-User Probably not. It seems like the extremist always suck all the oxygen out of the room.
If we (men) had valued the contributions of women since society began we would be having this discussion on another planet and likely be so advanced we would not even recognize ourselves.
SW-User
I humbly doubt joining a movement will change why men cheat on her. She needs to look inward for that answer.
JBird · F
As a feminist, I don't think being cheated twice is a good reason to be feminist.
TinyViolins · 31-35, M
I'd say it's less of a movement for anything and more of a platform riding the coattails of the success of previous feminist movements. On one hand, people can use the platform to voice all sorts of frivolous or even toxic talking points under the guise of academic rigor, like manspreading or patriarchy theory. On the other hand, it's the only voice for women to bring up legitimate gripes and issues facing women today, such as sexual harassment and reproductive rights. It's a mixed bag because of this, but it's necessary in society because it brings a myriad of topics to the discussion table
[image deleted][image deleted]You can still be feminine and get respect - when you stick that "-ism in there you just blew it.
JBird · F
@MarmeeMarch that's not feminism 🤦
SW-User
[c=#4C0073]and another feminazi is born ..
because of her own lack of taste in men[/c]
@SW-User And poor judgement.

@Emosaur Yeah, I really think she might just be frustrated with men at the moment.
ABCDEF7 · M
The definitions and the thoughts always confuse me about feminism and humanism.
