A friend you fell out badly with and are no longer speaking to is dying - would you call them?

I don't know. I'd be afraid I'd startle them and make them feel worse as they're dying...
That wouldn't be fair.
So I think I might just leave them be!
But let their loved ones know I'm thinking of them!
