A friend you fell out badly with and are no longer speaking to is dying - would you call them?

@LukeTheDuke I would put everything aside that we'd fallen out about. It would be forgotten in an instance. Because I would want them to know our friendship was bigger than any differences we'd had. And I would want them to feel they could ask anything of me at such a time.

Well then if things meant so much to both sides It seems they should have reconciled earlier than waiting for one to end up on their deathbed. @Moonpenny

@LukeTheDuke Well, it's never usually as clear-cut as that, is it? You're not actually waiting for someone to end up on their deathbed. For all intents and purposes, they won't have crossed your mind if you've fallen out. Supposing someone else told you of their bad news, then it's a matter of personal choice how you react. That's just the way I know I would react.
