What Have You Let Go

Since 2016 ? I’ve given up a lot.

1. News: CNN, BBC, Fox, Breitbart (more recently). I enjoyed reading/watching these every day. I dropped the first two in 2016. I could no longer stand the hate and plain to see propaganda against Trump. Fox was too artificial, and never gave a guest enough time to speak, amongst other things, although I catch Tucker on YT clips now and again. I stuck with Breitbart for much longer, but became increasingly sickened by their comments section. I put up with it for years, until I could no longer stand it. They were as hateful as the Left, and willing to eat their own (just like the Left), if they had a difference of opinion. Now I just have to gather news in bits and pieces from whatever sources I can, usually on YT, and online news.

Church: to be continued.

I find that OANN is the perfect balance. Yes they lean to the right, but spot on accurate with their reporting. And the best thing...... they don’t beat a dead horse. Hell, even the Huff Post endorses them.

I never listened to NPR until the last few years. I have leaned on NPR more and other news outlets less.

I have a favorite local news outlet which is admittedly liberal, but still even-handed. They don’t attack politicians on either side.

I exercise more and drink more water, so there’s less room for junk in my life.

I listen to Tim Poole every day. He started on the Left, but was still fair and balanced. He’s moved a bit to center now, but he’s intelligent and honest. He took on whatshisname who is the CEO of Twitter, on the Joe Rogan show. He did a great job in asking pointed questions. @JoeyFoxx
