What are some vivid memories growing up?

Part 1
I grew up in Tasmania in the 60's and 70's.
Some lasting memories being Man walking on the Moon in 1969.
I watched this at school as a 7 year old, wondering all the time, "How will they get Back"?

I remember my Grandmother baking Cakes and Desserts and Chocolate Crackles as a Sunday evening treat.
Seems like Nan could make anything.
Her Wine Trifle was especially delicious.

I remember seeing my Dad coming home carrying his Gladstone Bag.
This bag was carried by almost every mine worker back in the day.

Wanting to feel grown up, all boys had a packet of Fags in their pocket.

I remember Aunty Jack on her Harley Davidson Motorbike always threatening to "Rip Yer Bloody Arms Off"

My Dad had a Box Brownie Camera though I never saw him take a picture with it.

Yo Yos were all the rage for a few years. I never was much good at doing tricks.
My attention span was quite low.

Just a few memories which came to me without having to think too much about it.

That's awesome man I enjoyed reading this. 🙌🏼

Lol. And I asked my brother the same question about astronauts and he told me they parachuted down.
