If you came from nothing and return to nothing when you die why do you want to debate?

Atheists fail again to be logical.

It's the bible that claims everything arose from nothing. It's literally the first sentence.

Atheists believe otherwise. At least they have sound theories and even hard evidence to support it.
hippyjoe1955 · 61-69, M
@RedwoodBarman I take it you never read the Bible.
RedwoodBarman · 31-35, M
@hippyjoe1955 Make whatever assumptions you'd like. Your post makes little sense either way.
hippyjoe1955 · 61-69, M
@RedwoodBarman Because you are an atheist. I wasn't posting for your pleasure.
RedwoodBarman · 31-35, M
@hippyjoe1955 I've made no claims to the contrary. And I actually am theist. I simply don't conform to any religion.
hippyjoe1955 · 61-69, M
@RedwoodBarman This was aimed at atheists. I see no reason for you to respond if you are theist.
RedwoodBarman · 31-35, M
@hippyjoe1955 Welcome to the internet.
hippyjoe1955 · 61-69, M
@RedwoodBarman I suspect I have been on the internet longer than you have been alive.
RedwoodBarman · 31-35, M
@hippyjoe1955 Time does not equate to experience.
hippyjoe1955 · 61-69, M
@RedwoodBarman Says the kid who never used dialup. Lol lol lol lol lol lol lol lol lol lol lol lol lol lol lol lol lol lol
RedwoodBarman · 31-35, M
@hippyjoe1955 You believe what you want, but wrong again. I have experienced dialup. Don't see how that's relevant.

Back to the original topic, it is religious doctrine that states (more or less) nothingness was the state of things until God began His work. Meanwhile, atheists believe (more or less) reality was spontaneously created through a series of accidental coincidences and immeasurable lengths of time worth of evolution and adaptation.

Perhaps you meant our consciousness or souls?
hippyjoe1955 · 61-69, M
@RedwoodBarman no you have that completely wrong. Christianity teaches that the ingredients for everything were always a part of Yahweh. However Yahweh being Yahweh set every thing in order. Bringing order out if chaos as it were.
RedwoodBarman · 31-35, M
@hippyjoe1955 I will admit my arrogance to any text about Yahweh. I've only been taught Mormonism.

Because of this I'll cease my arguments and simply wish you a good day.
hippyjoe1955 · 61-69, M
@RedwoodBarman Yeah mormonism isn't Christianity. It has a very weird and perverted idea of Yahweh. I can well understand your confusion.
RedwoodBarman · 31-35, M
@hippyjoe1955 No confusion. I simply don't know enough to comment.
hippyjoe1955 · 61-69, M
@RedwoodBarman Understood. No offence intended. It takes courage to say "I don't know" on subjects like this.

@RedwoodBarman
At least they have sound theories and even hard evidence to support it.
I sure would be interested to hear more about that.

Incidentally, When God made something from nothing, it was God doing it. Not sure where your confusion came from there.
newjaninev2 · 56-60, F
@Budwick did your god make itself from nothing before it made everything else from nothing?
hippyjoe1955 · 61-69, M
@newjaninev2 How was your trip to Saturn? Find any interesting chemicals while you were there?
RedwoodBarman · 31-35, M
@Budwick You gotta learn to read more thoroughly. I already stated there's no confusion. Good job jumping in at the end, btw.
newjaninev2 · 56-60, F
@hippyjoe1955 your comment makes no sense - then again, why would you suddenly start making sense.

I assume it was made merely to run away from my question
@hippyjoe1955 Mormons are Christians, you ignorant swine. The full name is Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints.
Budwick · 70-79, M
@newjaninev2 I wasn't there.
Sorry.
newjaninev2 · 56-60, F
@Budwick Yet you pretend to know what happened.
Budwick · 70-79, M
@newjaninev2 The Bible picked up the story before the point in time you are curious about.

Something tells me - that was no accident.
newjaninev2 · 56-60, F
@Budwick
the point in time you are curious about
I have no idea what you’re referring to.

Perhaps you addressed your comment to the wrong person?
