What on earth does that mean? 🤔

You’re sitting in your living room reading a book listening to jazz...then DRUMS! For 3 minutes! Grrrr.@Crazychick

@Human1000 I meant what does "Way to harsh on my mellow" mean? I've never seen such a phrase.
Human1000 · M
@Crazychick Imagine a mellow experience, then change harsh into a verb, acting upon said mellow.
Crazychick · 36-40, F
@Human1000 Exactly. It doesn't make sense.
Human1000 · M
@Crazychick you're harshing on my mellow now.

@Human1000 What is a mellow? Are you from Norfolk and you mean "mallow"?
Human1000 · M
@Crazychick
Harshing my mellow
When someone takes away from your high, or tries to be cool by fucking with you when you are buzzed. What happens when a nancy (see Nancy) brings down your elated feelings while high.

@Crazychick is English your second language?
Crazychick · 36-40, F
@Human1000 It's my first, I am English, it's just that we didn't use the "Urban Dictionary" when I was in school, we used the Oxford English Dictionary.
Oh, and we don't have the word "nancy" in our vocabulary here. That's as taboo as another n-word for black people.

@Crazychick Ahh, you don’t speak American. Look up harsh and mellow in the OED and you’ll be amazed. You can do this!
Crazychick · 36-40, F
@Human1000 I've never been to America in my life, so why would I speak American? I know some of their spellings differ (like "color" and "center") but I still prefer to spell those words the English way.
Human1000 · M
@Crazychick you would if you cared. I’m very disappointed.
Crazychick · 36-40, F
@Human1000 Why are you disappointed that I don't speak American? I was born in England and I've lived in England all my life, I've never had any reason to visit America.

What is it like to be insane?@Crazychick
Crazychick · 36-40, F
@Human1000 I wouldn't know. Ask someone who is. Like one of those trolls who got my friends deleted from here.
Human1000 · M
@Crazychick make new friends.
Crazychick · 36-40, F
@Human1000 The ones I'm referring to are real-life friends, I asked most of them to join here and now they've been lied off the site.
Human1000 · M
@Crazychick go have some tea and scones with them.
Crazychick · 36-40, F
@Human1000 Wasn't it you who said "you would if you cared. I’m very disappointed"? And look at you now! How could you?
Human1000 · M
What was that post?@Crazychick
Crazychick · 36-40, F
@Human1000 You said it a few comments back on this thread.
Human1000 · M
Long term memory was never my strong suit.@Crazychick
Crazychick · 36-40, F
@Human1000 Please don't waste my time.
Human1000 · M
@Crazychick that’s entirely up to you, ma’dam.
